Kirk Spahn is the Vice Chairman of the Dwight Schools, a global network of IB World Schools committed to the unique Dwight philosophy of igniting the “spark of genius” in every child. In addition to its flagship location in New York City, Kirk’s alma mater, Dwight has campuses in NY, London, Canada, Shanghai, and Seoul.
In 2001, Kirk founded the Institute for Civic Leadership. to inspire and educate the next generation of young global leaders to take positive action in their local and global communities. ICL provides the funding, skills, and recognition to develop the next generation of social entrepreneurs and youth service leaders around the world. ICL has been recognized by the UN, Nasdaq, CGI, and the IBO for its leadership curriculum and training.
Prior to joining Dwight, Kirk worked at EduVentures in Boston, Ask.com in San Francisco, and Schoolmaster.net in London. A graduate of Dartmouth College, he earned an MA in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University with a focus on international business and marketing.
