ICL Academy: Water Polo is an innovative online private school (grades 6-12) that combines world-class academics, character, and leadership development with champion players, and coaches who serve as inspirational mentors to our student body. ICL is the only school that tailors academics to students’ passion for water polo through our comprehensive Impact Learning Model.

Maggie Steffens is an American water polo player. She won the gold medal with the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympics and in the 2016 Summer Olympics. She ranks second on the all-time scoring list in Olympic history, with 38 goals.
Tony Azevedo is a Brazilian-born American water polo player. He is a 2008 Olympic silver medalist and a five-time Olympian. Azevedo ranks fourth on the all-time scoring list in Olympic history, with 61 goals. Nicknamed “The Savior” at one point, he is considered to be one of the best American water polo players in recent memory.
6-8 Sports is a data-driven approach to evaluating athlete strengths & weaknesses as they develop over time. For athletes, the mobile App’s Video Training Program features many of the exact drills and training techniques that helped make Maggie and Tony the champions they are today. The 6-8 System is the first of its kind to unite objective data, consistent testing, and innovative tech to provide a comprehensive and nuanced overall snapshot of the athlete.
