Kelly Cavalieri received her Bachlors in Education from Illinois State University in 2016 and her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. For the past 7 years, she taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at a public school near Chicago. Over the years, Kelly has created ELA units and curriculum for teams of teachers. She is passionate about curriculum development and providing students with opportunities to reach their full potential. Kelly focuses on standards and skills to drive instruction, assignments, and assessments. She feels it is important for students to have a connection with the material in order to fully engage and succeed. When Kelly isn’t building a new curriculum, she is either running outside or enjoying time with her son and husband. As a family, they love walks, cooking, and reading books!
