Joseph Itaya

Biography

Joseph Itaya is an award-winning writer/director of films, commercials, and music videos. His work has appeared on broadcast television, in theatrical release, and film festivals around the world. His latest feature film, Lost & Found, was released by Sony Pictures.

Joseph Itaya is one of the pioneers of live action Virtual Reality, a director/producer of history making VR experiences for the United Nations, Stephen Colbert, CHLA, CBS, Annenberg Foundation, Walmart, Mattel, Sony, Fox, XQ Super School, among many others.

Joseph has produced legacy films for the Annenberg Foundation, V Foundation for Cancer Research, Vision Workshops, Lipstick Angels, Cedars Sinai Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, University of Southern California, The Village Nation, Bentonville Film Festival, National Geographic, GOFARR Foundation, and Hammer Museum.

A lifelong singer, pianist, and composer, Joseph has performed around the world, specializing in the development of pop recording artists. Joseph is the Co-Founder of WURRLY, the hit music platform.

Joseph is the Founder & CEO of Epicenter VR and Legacy Films. He holds a BA in Music from the University of Washington, and an MFA in film production from USC.
