Stargate is a Grammy Award-winning record producing and songwriting team composed of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, based in Los Angeles. The team’s genres include R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop.
They have produced or written for Mariah Carey, Wiz Khalifa, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Normani, Celine Dion, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Pink, Sia, Whitney Houston, Nas, Chris Brown, Khalid, Charli XCX, and others. They’ve had 10 songs go to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and produced and co-wrote Beyoncé’s worldwide hit single “Irreplaceable” and “Firework” for Katy Perry.
LAAMP is a one-year high-level music education program, based in Santa Monica, California. Their goal is to change the way contemporary music creation is taught, giving students a real-life experience in a safe and stimulating environment.
LAAMP allows students space, time, and the environment to commit and thrive. Handpicked artists, songwriters, and producers mentor students to achieve new levels in their music. LAAMP is founded by ICL Champion, Stargate, and co-founded by Amund Bjorklund and Magnus Beite. Bjorklund and Beite founded the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industry in Norway, now in its 3rd successful year.
