ICL Academy is an innovative, accredited Online Private School for grades 6-12 that tailors academics to students’ passions through its award-winning Impact Learning model.
Our program unites 150 years of academic excellence from the Dwight School and 20 years of character & service leadership training from the Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL) non-profit in a mission to re-imagine online private education.
“I’m so glad we found ICL Academy. Our kids love going to their weekly seminars, and having the time to focus on their training”
– Jesse W., ICL Parent
Through an affiliate partnership with the prestigious Dwight School, ICL Academy’s courses are based on the Scope & Sequence of an elite private school education (not the free public school curriculum other online schools use).
Service Leadership is embedded in the ICL education. From crafting mission statements with world-renowned performance psychologist & author Dr. Jim Loehr to ICL’s revolutionary leadership curriculum and courses, service project guidance, plus regular SEL offerings like MindUP Mondays from the Goldie Hawn Foundation.
At ICL, we don’t just prepare your child to get into the college of their dreams. Through personalized college counseling and our college speaker webinar series, ICL will equip your child to thrive once they get there, and succeed as fully engaged leaders in college and in life.
Students form meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, staff, mentors, and advisors through their ‘passion pod’ collaborations, live teacher instructional office hours, and live virtual or in-person school events, meet-ups, student-led clubs, and in summer abroad programs.
ICL is the only online private school with world-renowned champions. Can you imagine if you’d been mentored by your idols as a teenager? Global icons inspire and mentor ICL Academy students to follow in their footsteps and beyond.
